CONSECRATION
The wedding ceremony takes place under the wedding arch.
During the wedding celebration, old traditions come alive.
HANDS TIED TOGETHER
The hands of the wedding couple are tied together and they swear an oath, after which the hands are removed as a sign that they are together of their own free will.
SWAPPING JEWELRY
The couple exchange necklaces instead of rings.

Raising cups is part of tradition.
ATMOSPHERE OF A LOG HOUSE
When there are 20 guests, they can all fit together at Wäinölä’s large table. With all the tables on the sides, 40 guests be seated at the tables.
The serving dishes are made of wood and clay.
BY THE FIRE
Our barbecue hut gathers guests around the fire.
DELICACIES FROM THE OFYR -GRILL
At a Viking wedding, the meat is cooked on an Ofyr grill and served on planks.
When serving, we take into account all wishes and special diets. Wäinölä does not have liquor license, so you can bring your own drinks.
FIRE AS ELEMENT
Torches, streamers, candles, a campfire and an open fireplace all create a magical atmosphere.

DECORATION
Showy decorations suitable for the spirit of the times and a wonderful bridal bouquet were made by Marika from NLUX Collection.
MUSICIANS
The musician Ulla Hillenbrandt conducts the wedding rituals, sings and plays the violin. The second musician is Bernd Katter, who creates a mystical atmosphere with the drums.
