Our company Nuuksion Taika, in English Magic of Nuuksio, is located in the southern Finland, just 40 km from the Helsinki center and its airport, next to the Nuuksio National Park.
You can overnight by us, taste wild food, relax in a traditional Finnish sauna and experience outdoor activities and programs with a touch of Northern mythologies.
We welcome all guests, we are a LGBTQ friendly and a widely accessible destination. Sustainability plays a key role in all of our actions. Recognition by Good Travel and Sustainable Travel Finland certificates commit us further on this path.
LAKESIDE COTTAGE
Rent our cosy cottage Villa Paratiisi by the lake, relax in a traditional Finnish sauna and have a deep sleep in the silence of the nature.
Villa Paratiisi is a great get a way-place. There is accommodation for 14 people in 6 rooms.
The main building has 2 bedrooms, sauna, kitchen and living room. Next to the main building there are 2 cottages, which both have have 2 bedrooms.
WÄINÖLÄ IN THE WOODS
In the middle of the forest, close by Villa Paratiisi, there is Wäinölä with a traditional log house, two campfire-places and “the Bear-hut” with an authentic looking brown-bear. In the log house of Wäinölä there is room up to 40 people and around campfires up to 80 people.
In Wäinölä we organise programs based on the ancient Finnish mythologies, the northern Bear mythologies and the Kalevala, the national epic of Finland.
“This week we have had the privilege to spend 5 wonderful days here at Nuuksion Taika. The house at the lake and its surroundings are just amazing. We found ourselves in a winter wonderland. Waking up with such a breathtaking view is so relaxing. Satu is a splendid host and she will make sure your Finnish experience is perfect. We did lots of different sports activities and were pampered afterwards with lovely food and drinks. In the evenings we went into the hot tub, sauna and even went ice swimming. Highly recommended.”
