BOOKING AND PAYMENT TERMS
The person making the reservation must be a person or other person over the age of 18 or otherwise legally competent. An electronic invoice, either an e-invoice or an invoice, is sent to the customer by e-mail. All comments related to the invoice must be reported within three days from the date of the invoice. The invoice must be paid by the due date with the reference number. To avoid any ambiguity, please indicate if the invoice is paid under a different name than the booking. A booking fee of 250 euros must be paid within two days, the fee confirms the booking.
The final payment, which includes the balance of the rent and the ordered additional services, must be paid 5 weeks (35 days) before the start of the booking. Corporate meeting and recreation day space rent will be paid in one installment at the time of booking, additional services will be billed after the event.
The reservation can also be made through the nuuksiontaika.johku.com online store or as a PayPal payment. In the online store, the full amount is paid at once and a cancellation fee of EUR 250 will be withheld in case of cancellation 5 weeks (35 days) before.
Private: A cancellation fee of EUR 250 will be charged for cancellations. If the cancellation occurs earlier than 5 weeks (35 days) before the start of the booking, the customer can postpone the booking once to another time. If the booking is canceled later than 5 weeks (35 days) before the start of the booking, the full rental amount will be charged.
Companies: If the start of the booking is more than 5 weeks (35 days), the booking can be postponed to another time at no cost. If the start of the booking is less than 5 weeks (35 days) but more than a week (7 days), then the opportunity can be postponed to another time by paying a booking fee of 250 euros in addition to the paid space rent. If there is less than a week (7 days) for the event, we will withhold the full rental amount. Paid space rentals are non-refundable.
If the booking has to be canceled due to disruptive behavior, payments will not be refunded. In case of force majeure, the landlord can cancel the reservation. The customer is then entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.
STAYING ON THE PREMISES
The keys will be handed over to the customer at the pre-agreed arrival time. If the customer does not return the keys and can be considered to have lost them due to negligence, the cost of replacing the locks will be charged.
It is forbidden to use a tent or caravan or to bring a lot into the area. Pets must be notified at the time of booking and are subject to a separate surcharge. Smoking is prohibited indoors and on covered terraces, it is only allowed in marked places.
The space is available to the customer for the period agreed in the offer, the space may be used by the maximum number of people agreed upon booking.
SERVING AND PROGRAMS
Catering is also organized through us, with a separate menu. All meals are lactose free, we also prepare other special diets for which we charge from € 3.50 / serving. Special diets and the final number of participants must be announced 2 weeks before the event. We do not have liquor licenses so you can bring your own drinks with you.
If the start of the program is delayed due to the customer or lasts longer than agreed, we will charge 45 € / h / employee for the additional time.
The rent of the villa includes furniture, utensils (for a minimum of 20 people) and energy for heating, cooking and lighting. The rent includes Kaski basket of firewood / day. Mattresses, blankets and pillows are included in the rental price. Private customers can purchase additional services such as extra trees, linen and towels through the online store. Corporate customers will be billed after the event.
The rent of the villa does not include cleaning, it can be taken care of independently according to the cleaning instructions found in the villa or purchased as an additional service in advance. Cleaning does not include washing dishes or taking out rubbish, rubbish should be taken to the garage at the marked places. If cans and bottles are collected in the containers provided, they can be left in the hood. If the furniture has been moved, it should be put in place. If the cleaning is incomplete or requires more time than normal, additional work will be charged 45 € / h. Room rental for meeting and recreation days includes cleaning and garbage removal.
As the villa is located right on the lake, there is no outdoor permission to play music from the speakers after 10pm and guests must consider other beach residents.
Wäinölä’s rent includes furniture, energy, firewood and cleaning, as well as dry toilets and a campfire next to Wäinölä. If the cleaning takes more time than normal, additional work will be charged 45 € / h.
DAMAGES AND FORCE MAJEURE
The customer is obliged to compensate for any damage to buildings, courtyards or furniture during their stay. Damage must be reported immediately. If the damage is caused by indifference to foreign property, the matter is treated as vandalism, which is always reported to the police and for which compensation is claimed in addition to the repair costs.
The Landlord shall not be liable for any damage caused to the Customer due to unforeseeable force majeure or a similar cause (eg natural phenomena, power outages, etc.) not caused by the Landlord and the consequences of which the Landlord could not reasonably have prevented. The landlord is also not liable for damages or consequences resulting from normal natural phenomena.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION OF DISPUTES
The Contracting Parties shall endeavor to settle disputes arising from this Agreement through mutual consultations. If no agreement is reached in the negotiations, the disputes will be resolved in the Lohja District Court. Finnish law applies to the agreement.
